Firearms Information

General Firearms

All items purchased and shipped in accordance with existing federal, state and local laws and regulations. Items include firearms, magazines and receivers. We advise you to check with your local and state regulations before ordering as there may be items that are prohibited in your area. You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase a long gun and 21 years of age or older to purchase a handgun per ATF regulations. Please check state and local laws before purchasing as they may differ.

 

All new firearms will be shipped in the original manufacturer’s box, with magazine(s), accessories and applicable warranty. Should your firearm require work and it is covered by the warranty, you may return the item to the factory within 1 year of purchase for repairs. For accessories, special order items, and/or integrated firearms packages not normally sold by Long Arms Tactical; will not be covered under warranty unless there is a guarantee for the entire package given in writing. We encourage you to contact the manufacturer for warranty information.

The FFL (Federal Firearms License)

Note: The FFL (Federal Firearms License) information provided here is public information available from the ATF’s website/database. Long Arms Tactical has not control over the accuracy of the information provided.

 

We work with any willing FFL dealer to complete transfers. We require a current copy of the dealer’s FFL be sent to us via FAX at (480) 247-5660 or Email longarmstactical@gmail.com. If we have a current copy of the dealer’s license (FFL) on file, there is no need to resend it with each order.

 

We will not ship firearms to non-FFL dealers. Firearms MUST be sent to a FFL dealer who will perform the necessary background check and obtain the proper documentation.

 

It is the responsibility of the purchaser to contact the FFL dealer prior to placing any orders to confirm all policies and procedures and obtain any applicable fees that may be assessed.

Transfers & How They Work

When you purchase a firearm from an online or out of state retailer, you are required by law to have the item shipped to an FFL (Federal Firearms License) vendor within your state. Long Arms Tactical, will accept this firearm on your behalf.

 

When your firearm arrives at our location, we will reach out to you to schedule an appointment to come into the store. During your appointment, you will complete the necessary paperwork and the required background check will be performed. Once clearance has been granted, you will pay a small fee and will be in possession of your new firearm.

 

How Much Will This Cost?

Our gun transfer fees are noted below:

  • Basic Transfer $30

  • CCW Holder $25
